Personality: Despite the fact his body is not completely human anymore, #17 is actually quite happy with the cybernetic changes made on him by Dr. Gero, as they have given him abilities beyond his wildest dreams. A fun-loving teenager in both looks and attitude, #17 can be as rebellious as they can get, and his love for driving high-end vehicles, including cars, vans and even motorcycles shows this well. He is also a bit annoyed at times by his 'fuddy-duddy' of a friend Piccolo, who is the complete foil to him; serious and no-nonsense, all the time. Despite this, #17 is constantly attempting to help his Namekian friend understand that it is good to let his fun-side out, and that keeping it bottled up so much is extremely unhealthy. Piccolo might finally be starting to slowly give way to this, since he also buys a motorcycle and even races with #17 at one point in Part 9. Additionally, #17 also feels his sister #18 can sometimes be overbearing and too much of a shop-a-holic, but at least he knows it could be worse. His attitude towards the newest Misfits is that of interest, and he has noticed the DNA differences of Alex, Jason and Vernon long before they themselves knew it, and he often states what is on his mind as well.
