He wishes to regain his younger brother and prince's trust. Additionally, his love to an old mate in his past life and his hatred for Frieza and his minion Dodoria helped spark his Super Saiya-jin transformation. He also seems to have taken an interest in Dan and Teresa due to a strange dream which told him of their importance to future events, training both of them personally. He also feels an odd duty to help supply his friends with more resources, and has gotten a job at a local McDonalds for such a reason, and has also tried to grow a sensu bean-plant to help with healing purposes. However he is often jealous of people like Alex, Jason and Vernon since they have at such a low level of experience acquired the Super Saiya-jin forms before he could, and even have gone to the Super Saiya-jin 2 level. However, Radditz still understands his brother, Piccolo, #17 and Vegeta's intentions to train them as part of a new generation of fighters, and usually lets it slide. Although he cannot claim he is a full-blown veteran of new-age fighting like Goku, Piccolo or Vegeta, he has had years of other fighting under his belt, even some over the other three, which gives him an unique outlook in battle.
