Primary Motivation for Being a Misfit: Originally to prove to Piccolo
that even humans can be just as good as any non-human at fighting and protecting
others. Later evolves into a desire to protect the world from more attacks
similar to what happened on 9/11 and out of a secret desire to protect Teresa.

Personality: Priding upon his mechanical knowledge, Dan is considered
the Mr. Fix-it of the Misfits, working on both technological and mechanical
devices or problems he and his friends might experience. His nature is mostly
easy-going, although he is not above being devious to those who deserve it once
in a while, having been known to play pranks on Alex and Jason a few times when
he felt they deserved it, however beneath the surface, Dan is also a slight
pervert, and has expressed interest in many women in school, and has even
admitted Nina is quite attractive, to Dusty's slight dismay. However, Teresa has
recently caught his eye and he seems particularly fixated on her, despite the
fact she was forced to try to assassinate him in the past. This special interest
in Teresa has helped him fight off the influence of Oyatsu long enough to buy
#18 time to disperse the shapeshifter from his body. He has also expressed
interests in Wrestling and even some past interests and joining the NAVY as an
operator of the aircraft, which might have some relevance to Al-Qaeda's
attempted assassination.
