Personality [In Depth]:
     ESSence is a very unique member of the Triocladiar race. While he is the smarter and more observant one when comparing him to his older brother Palelenas, he is also known to be one of the most laid back Medatarions in the history of their species, which in a sense is saying a lot since their kind is generally quite relaxed off the job. ESSence's large bulk and tall height very easily scare the common human and can at least somewhat intimidate the most stout hero, but he is a friendly giant if he's on your side, and has a strange taste for Earth's disco culture, much to the chagrin of Duke, who absolutely loathes the culture himself. His voice also comes off as unusually goofy sounding for his kind as well, and can send mixed signals in battle.
     Make no mistake though, a pissed off ESSence is a perfect storm of rage against his enemies, no matter their usual power or origin, and ESSence is very well trained at reducing his enemies to smoldering pieces on the floor within record time. His well fortified armor and his sheer durability make him the embodiment of a walking, talking, living tank on the battlefield, and it takes a crap ton of punishment to take him down. Being that he is a naturally achieved Elimination Squad Soldier compared to most of the rest of his kind having reached the rank via specialized drugs and experimental science, it shows just how far the guy has come in his quest to be a faithful soldier and friend to his people. However his less observant and head-in-the-clouds brother Palelenas is also a natural-achieved Elimination Squad Soldier as well, and has shown to be a formidable force in combat as well, so perhaps it just runs in his family.
     ESSence does have one major thing that can get to him quickly, the issue of his deceased father, Malkavion Margalan. His father was at the time the most powerful of his species in the wars between the Triocladiar and the slime-like Rigelatins. His queen Naferia sent him into a battle of mass glory which ended up winning a major victory for the Triocladiar, but at the cost of Malkavion's life. ESSence has always had suspicions of his queen and of the possiblity his father might have learned things about her he shouldn't have. Additionally, the later exile to Earth by Naferia herself lit a fire of sorts under ESSence, and he feels for sure Naferia is hiding a critical secret from him and the rest of the Triocladiar race, one that needs to be exposed for the sake of the species.
     Despite his exile, ESSence finds a strange feeling of truth and justice among his former human enemies in Duke Nukem and his own team, and decided to join them because he knows Naferia has directly declared war on Duke and his friends, and he feels he needs to give the team the information and firepower needed to survive, and if nothing else, to try to keep their spirits up with his goofy off-duty nature, which has already brought former nemesis Bubsy and him to a friendly understanding of the situation, the two having fought each other briefly on two occasions during Naferia's response attack on the staff of 3D Realms in Los Angeles in accordance to Duke's tear-up of the Triocladiar agenda in Washington D.C. ESSence hopes he has enough information about his kind and his queen to keep them on even footing, but it obviously bothers ESSence to know just what his father might have learned about Naferia that she had to off him for it.

Appearance: ESSence stands at a towering eleven and a half feet, well above any height a human can reach, which allows him to easily stand out among humans. Despite this, he is only really pumped up at the torso, both of his arms and both of his legs looking somewhat slim, though somewhat toned in human terms. He has dark-beige skin with dark line-markings down his arms, legs, and some down his chest. He wears large spiked red shoulder applets, a red armored belt, and red-armored kneepads. His chest is mostly exposed with the exception of the straps for his back armor that stretch over it. He has eerie pupilless light-blue eyes which vastly contrast from most Medatarions who have light-red eyes. He also wears a horned helmet, also red in color to match the rest of his armor. He has 2 larges row of teeth that extend out of his mouth, along with tusks on each side of his face as well. The back of his armor has strange, bullet-like protrusions running down the back on both sides. He also tends to carry a massive silver sweetsweeper chaingun with a built-in mortar launcher. He is also barefoot and wears no protective footwear, despite his natural resistance to most extremes and hazards.

     (Support) ESS-Rank Armor - ESSence wears a special suit of permanent armor assigned for his rank among the Triocladiar forces which absorbs 60% of all damage when worn before any other expendible armor or defenses kick in. However this armor makes ESSence very slow moving and caps his jumping strength substantially. The armor can be removed or refitted via the main menus to improve his mobility or defenses depending on the situation.
